Using Mhari Boli

Mhari Boli is a free app for learning Marwari, run by Akhil Sonthalia, Kolkata, India. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Your account

What you may not do

We may suspend or delete an account that does any of this.

What you contribute

If you send us a correction, a word or a suggestion, you are telling us it is yours to give, and you let us use it in the app and its lessons free of charge. You keep your own rights to it. We may edit it, or decide not to use it at all.

The lessons

Marwari is spoken differently from one place to another, and the same word can be written in more than one way. We put the lessons together from public sources and from what speakers tell us, and we check what we can, but we cannot promise every word, spelling or translation is right everywhere. Tell us when we have it wrong — that is how it improves.

The app, its design, and the lessons as they are arranged here belong to us. You may use them to learn; you may not republish them as your own.

The app is provided as it is

Mhari Boli is free, and we offer it without a warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will always be available, or free of faults. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it — but nothing here limits liability we cannot lawfully limit.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose. We may change, pause or stop the app; if accounts are affected we will email account holders first.

Money

The app is free today. If we ever charge for something, it will be clearly marked and optional, and what you have already learned stays yours to reach.

Changes and law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email account holders. These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of Kolkata have jurisdiction.
